CONFERENCE SUMMARY

The International Conference on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) under the theme “Health Technology Assessment in the Digital Era: From Evidence to Policy and Practice” attracted more than 400 registered participants from regulatory authorities, healthcare institutions, universities, research institutes, enterprises, and domestic as well as international organizations. The conference featured two plenary sessions, five thematic sessions, one Young Scientists Forum, and two poster sessions, with a total of 54 scientific presentations delivered. The programme provided a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the application of real-world data, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation in healthcare, as well as international experience in HTA for strategic procurement, payment model design, and practical discussions on HTA implementation at the hospital level and within the Vietnamese healthcare system.

The Organizing Committee sincerely thanks the leaders of the Ministry of Health and regulatory authorities for their guidance, support, and continued engagement with the conference; the Vietnam Hospital Pharmacists Association as the co-organizing institution; and national and international professors, experts, and speakers for their valuable scientific and practical contributions. Although the conference concludes today, its scientific contributions, professional networks, and collaborative spirit will continue to resonate. The initiatives, research ideas, and partnerships emerging from this event will contribute to the structured, effective, and sustainable development of HTA in Vietnam, with the goal of optimizing resources and improving the quality of healthcare for the population.
